Our office is over in Sector 12 in Noida, specifically in the T-7 building. Being a government-related spot, we get all kinds of people coming through the doors. It is a bit of a maze in this part of town if you are not used to it. The building itself is older and shows its age, but it serves its purpose for the work we do. We spend most of our time dealing with different types of forms and administrative tasks for the state. It is not the kind of job that gets written about in magazines, but it is necessary for things to keep running. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we sort through the mail. The desks are covered in folders and there is always a pot of tea sitting somewhere nearby. Noida is a fast-growing city, but inside our walls, things move at a much steadier pace. We do not have any slick marketing or brochures to hand out. If you need something, you just come in and ask. Sometimes the lines are long and people have to wait, but we try to get to everyone eventually. It is a lot of routine, day-in and day-out. We are just regular people working for the government, trying to keep the files organized and the records up to date. It is a quiet life for the most part, and we are fine with that. It is just a job that needs to be done every day.
