Our office is over in Ecotech-3, in the area they call Toy City. It sounds like a fun place because of the name, but Unicon Technology International is mostly about hard work and long hours. We are at Plot No-107. The road near Kachchi Sadak can be a bit bumpy depending on the season. We do a lot of technical work here, mostly related to manufacturing and assembly. The building is a bit grey and looks like every other factory on the block. Inside, it’s a mix of people on computers and people working on the floor. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the afternoon slump. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. We have whiteboards with scribbles all over them and stacks of components waiting to be tested. The area is still developing, so there’s a lot of construction noise around us. We’ve been here since before the road was fully paved. Some days the internet is slow and we all just complain about it together. It’s a good group of people, even if we get stressed when deadlines are close. We don't have a cafeteria, so everyone brings their own lunch and we eat together in the small break room. It’s just how we operate. We keep the machines running and try to stay ahead of the schedule. It's a busy place but we manage to get through the work somehow.
