Working out of the IGI Domestic Airport Terminal 1D at the SB Tower is definitely interesting. We are up on Level-5. You hear the planes all the time, though you kind of tune it out after a week or two. Being Surot Techno Consultants Pvt Ltd means we spend a lot of time on computers and talking to people about technical things. The tower is usually pretty bustling because of where it is. Getting into work involves going through some security checks which takes time, so we have to plan for that in the morning. Level-5 has a good view of the terminal area if you stand by the right window. It’s not a huge office, just enough room for the team to sit and get through the consulting work we have on our plates. Sometimes the elevator takes forever when the airport is busy. We’ve got a small kettle for tea and some old chairs that have seen better days. It’s practical, though. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights inside. Just the usual office stuff like binders and pens that always seem to go missing when you need one. Dealing with the airport traffic is just part of the job for us. We’re usually here until late making sure the reports are done. It’s a solid place to work from even if it’s loud outside and smells like jet fuel sometimes.
