Our place is located at C-152 in the Hosiery Complex, which is part of Phase 2. It’s a busy part of the industrial zone. If you walk around here, you'll see a lot of people moving bags and rolls of cloth. Sunlord Apparel is just one of the buildings in this row. We’ve got a fairly large space but it feels small when it’s full of stock. The Hosiery Complex is usually humming with the sound of motors and people shouting to be heard over the noise. We get used to it after a while. Most days, we arrive and check what needs to be packed or sorted. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. The floors are concrete and the lights are bright so we can see what we’re doing with the garments. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. It's more about having enough room to move around. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying big loads up and down takes some practice. We take our breaks when we can find a quiet moment. There’s a guy who sells snacks nearby, and that’s usually where we end up when we need a bit of a rest. The address is pretty straightforward, though sometimes delivery drivers get Phase 1 and Phase 2 mixed up. We just tell them to look for the big C block sign. It’s a steady life here, just working through the piles and keeping the business going until the shift is over and we can head home.
