Chicane

We are located in Sector 25, a place that has its own kind of rhythm. The shop has a heavy metal door that makes a loud, clanking sound every time it closes. Inside, we have things arranged in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit random or cluttered to a stranger walking in. There are some chairs near the front that have seen better days, with the fabric wearing thin, but they are comfortable enough if you need to sit for a bit while you wait. We don’t have any big flashy signs, just our name on the glass and the door. The lighting is a bit dim in the back corner, but we like it that way because it feels more relaxed. It’s a place where you can just be for a while without anyone asking too many questions. We spend the mornings tidying up the shelves and the afternoons waiting for the usual rush to start once people get off work. Sector 25 gets a lot of car traffic, but our little corner stays somewhat shielded from the worst of the noise. We have a small radio that we keep on a low volume in the corner, playing whatever station has the least static. There’s a certain smell to the place, like old wood and maybe a bit of coffee drifting in from the shop next door. It’s not a corporate office or a shiny mall store. It’s just Chicane, a simple spot where we do our thing and the days go by one after another in a steady, quiet way.
