We are over in Noida, specifically in Sector-6 at B-124, right near where the Noida Authority offices are. Hippy Ship is basically a workspace where we deal with a lot of boxes and packaging tape. You can hear the sound of tape being pulled across cardboard pretty much all day long. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there are always sounds of construction or vehicles moving nearby. Inside, we have long tables where we sort through things and get them ready to go out. We don’t have fancy carpets or paintings on the walls; it’s mostly just white paint that has seen better days and a few calendars pinned up. We keep a stack of snacks in the corner because we often work through lunch when there’s a lot to do. The lighting is just those long tube lights that flicker a bit when they first turn on. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving from the storage area to the packing desk. Sometimes we get orders that are a bit unusual and require a lot of bubble wrap, which usually ends up all over the floor by the end of the shift. We try to keep it organized, but when it’s busy, the place looks a bit chaotic with labels and markers everywhere. It’s just a normal workplace where we focus on getting the tasks done and making sure we haven't missed anything before the courier arrives.
