Star Coffee Cafe

If you’re walking through Atta Sector-18, you’ve probably seen Star Coffee Cafe. It’s right in the middle of all the shopping chaos. We opened up because people needed a place to sit down for a minute and have a hot drink without all the fuss. The espresso machine makes a lot of noise and sometimes it leaks a bit on the counter, but it still makes a decent cup. We have a few tables that wobble if you don't put a bit of cardboard under the legs. It’s not a fancy lounge, just a spot with some chairs and the smell of roasted beans. We get a lot of students and people taking a break from the markets. Sometimes the Wi-Fi works and sometimes it doesn't, we don't really promise much on that front. We spend a lot of time cleaning up sugar spills and empty cups. The staff is just a few of us who live nearby. We don’t have any big corporate rules, we just try to be nice to whoever comes in. In the winter, the place gets packed because it’s warmer inside than out on the street. We just keep the milk steamed and the mugs ready. It’s nothing special, just a regular cafe where you can get a coffee and look out the window at the crowds in Atta. We keep the beans coming and the cups full all day long.
