Srishti Garments

Atta is a place that never really stops, and Srishti Garments is right in the middle of all that noise. We’ve got a shop here where the shelves are always overflowing with different fabrics and finished pieces. It can be hard to move around sometimes when we have a new shipment of cloth dumped on the floor. The lights are a bit bright because we need to see the colors clearly, but one of the tubes has been flickering for a week. We keep meaning to get a ladder and fix it. At Srishti Garments, we don't have a fancy showroom. It is more of a practical space where we cut and stitch and fold. The sound of the sewing machines is constant from the back room. Sometimes the street noise from Atta gets so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. People just come in because they saw the sign or someone told them we were here. We have a small plastic stool for anyone who needs to sit down, but usually, it's just us standing at the tall tables all day. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands are usually a bit tired by the evening. It’s just a regular garment shop doing its thing in a busy market. We like it here. The energy in Atta keeps us going through the day.
