Our place is over at C-85 in Sector-65. It’s a pretty standard building in a busy part of the sector. We’ve been operating out of here for a good while, mostly doing what we call "creations," which involves a lot of fabric, cutting, and stitching. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the rolls of cloth and the machines going. It’s definitely not a quiet office environment. There’s always the sound of someone working or people talking over the noise of the equipment. We started out small and we’ve stayed pretty grounded. The people working here are mostly locals who know their way around a needle or a pattern. We don't have a big mission statement written on the wall. We just have a list of things that need to get shipped out by the end of the week. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just have to deal with it and move on. It’s honest work. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures or big ads. Most people find us because they heard from someone else that we do decent work. The office part of the building is just a couple of desks where we handle the bills and talk to the people who buy our stuff. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We just keep our heads down and keep making things. The days go by fast when you are busy with your hands.
