Out here in Sector 63, things move pretty fast at A-2. We run an online shop, so our days are filled with looking at screens and then checking the inventory we have on the shelves. It’s a lot of boxes and tape. When an order comes in, someone has to find it, pack it up, and get it ready for the couriers who come by in the afternoons. Sometimes we get the wrong item delivered to us, and then we have to spend the whole morning sorting that out with the suppliers. It’s not all smooth sailing. The internet goes down once in a while, and that really slows things down, but we just find other stuff to do until it’s back up. Our team is just a handful of people who know how the system works. We drink a lot of chai to keep going, especially during the big sale seasons when the orders pile up high. The warehouse part can get a bit dusty, but we try to keep it organized so we don't lose track of anything. It’s a simple setup really, no big corporate structure, just us making sure the stuff people buy gets sent to their doors. Most of the time, we’re just focused on the next batch of shipments. It’s busy, often loud with the sound of tape dispensers, and there’s always something that needs to be moved from one side of the room to the other before we go home for dinner.
