Dixon Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. is located at B-14/15 in Phase-II. It’s a pretty large setup compared to some of the smaller shops nearby. When you walk into the facility, you can see rows of benches and people working on various electronic parts. It’s a controlled environment because the things we handle can be quite sensitive. We have a lot of different shifts running, so there’s always someone coming or going. The security gate at the entrance is usually where you’ll see a bit of a line during the shift changes. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy talk; we just follow the production schedules and try to keep everything moving smoothly. The lighting is bright and the floors are kept clean, which is necessary for the kind of assembly work we do. In the breakroom, there’s usually a lot of chatter about the latest cricket match or whatever else is happening in the news. We have a mix of experienced hands and newer people learning the ropes. It’s a place where you have to pay attention to small details, or things don’t work right at the end of the line. We don't spend money on expensive furniture for the lobby because the focus is really on what’s happening in the production area. It’s a busy, functional site that stays active through most of the day and night. We check the logs and head back to the benches.
