You can find Shiva Garments right on the Main Road in Sector 22. Being on the main road means there’s always something going on outside. Cars honking, buses stopping, and people rushing to catch their rides. It’s a busy place to have a shop. I spend a lot of my day standing near the front, watching the traffic and waiting for someone to stop in. I sell mostly everyday clothes for men and women. I’ve got jeans, shirts, and some traditional wear too. I try to keep the front window updated with whatever is in season so people see it as they drive by. The shop isn't very big, so things are a bit cramped. I have boxes of extra stock piled up in the back room, and sometimes they spill out into the main area. It’s just how it is when you’re trying to offer a lot of choices in a small space. I’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that squeak a bit, but they keep the air moving. My customers are a mix of locals and people just passing through on their way to work. I don't have a lot of time for fancy talk; I just show them what I have and let them decide. It’s an honest way to make a living. I’ve been here for a few years now and I’ve seen the road get wider and the traffic get heavier.
