Shine Collection

Our shop is located at B-439 in Sector 19, Noida. If you know Noida, you know Sector 19 is a busy place with a lot going on. We call it Shine Collection. It sounds a bit fancy, but the place itself is quite simple. We have racks and shelves filled with all sorts of things we’ve gathered over time. It’s a bit cramped in here, especially when we get a new delivery and the boxes are stacked up in the aisles. We don’t have any professional decorators. We just put things where they fit. My cousin helps me out on the weekends, and during the week, it’s just me and one other person. We get a lot of local people coming in just to look around. Sometimes they buy something, sometimes they just want to chat for a bit. We don't mind either way. The lighting in the back of the store is a bit dim, we keep meaning to change the bulbs but we always forget when we go to the hardware store. It’s an honest little business. We aren't part of some big chain. We just pick out items we think people will like and hope for the best. Some months are better than others, but we’ve managed to stay open for a good while now. We keep a ledger by the counter and write everything down by hand. It’s old-fashioned, but it works for us. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in.
