I’m over in Sector 82 at Kindraya Vihar, specifically in unit C/172. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main roads. My office is basically a room in the apartment. I like it here because I can see the trees from my window and hear the birds instead of just car horns all day. The desk is pushed up against the wall and it’s piled high with folders and some old rulers I’ve had since college. The carpet is a bit worn where my chair rolls back and forth. Living and working in the same complex means I see the same neighbors every day when I go out for a walk. It’s a very normal, domestic setting. There isn't a big sign or a waiting room. If someone comes over, we just sit at the dining table or in the extra chairs I keep by the window. I spend most of my afternoon drafting while the sun moves across the floor. Sometimes the neighbor’s TV is a bit loud through the wall, but that’s just life in Kindraya Vihar. I don’t try to make it look like a corporate headquarters. It’s just my workspace. It’s honest and simple. I have my computer, my printer, and a lot of paper. That is really all I need to get the designs done. I keep a small plant on the ledge, though I often forget to water it properly.
