D. R. Fashions

D. R. Fashions is located at A-157 in the Sector-83 Hosiery Complex, Phase-2. Being in a hosiery complex means it’s always busy around here with trucks and people moving fabric. Our place is full of sewing machines and rolls of cloth. There’s always the sound of machines humming in the background. We aren't a high-end boutique; we’re more of a workshop where the actual making happens. We spend our days looking at patterns and making sure the stitching is decent. It gets pretty warm in the summer with all the machines running, but we’re used to it. Workers are usually busy cutting fabric or finishing up a batch of garments. We don’t have a big showroom for people to walk through. Most of what we do is wholesale or for other businesses that need stuff made. There are piles of thread and scraps of cloth all over the place. It’s a practical setup. We’ve been in this part of Sector-83 for a while, so we know the other shops and suppliers nearby. It’s hard work and long hours sometimes, especially when there’s a big order that needs to get out the door. We just stick to what we know, which is putting clothes together and making sure the machines keep running. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of thread and have to send someone out to grab more. It’s a lot of manual labor.
