Amit Embroidery is located at D-55 Sector-7. We’ve been here in this building for quite a while now. The space isn't huge, but it fits all the machines we need for the work. If you walk into the shop, you'll see spools of thread in every color imaginable sitting on the shelves and sometimes just piled on the tables. It gets pretty noisy when the embroidery machines are all going at once, which is most of the day. We spend a lot of time looking at designs and making sure the needles are doing what they should. It’s a lot of sitting and watching the fabric move. The neighborhood around Sector-7 is busy, so there’s always someone stopping by or a delivery coming through the door. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. Most days are just about finishing the orders that came in yesterday and starting the ones for tomorrow. The floor usually has bits of thread and scraps of backing paper that we sweep up at the end of the night. It’s just regular work, nothing too complicated, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out the machine hum, but half the time we don't even hear it anymore because we’re used to the sound of the needles.
