Sector 63 is always full of factories and busy offices. Our place at E55 is usually buzzing with activity. You can hear the sound of the machines from the street if the windows are open. Zamco Apparel Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend most of our waking hours. There is a lot of fabric and thread everywhere you look. Piles of material tend to grow in the corners. We try to keep things organized but it gets messy when a large order is due. The lighting is very bright so we can see what we are doing with the needles. Some of the staff have been working here since the company first started. We talk about our families while we work at the benches. The break room is quite small. We usually just eat at our spots or go outside to the gate for some fresh air. Sector 63 gets very dusty in the late afternoons when the wind picks up. The gate at E55 needs a bit of oil because it squeaks every time a delivery truck comes in. We do not have a fancy receptionist in a suit waiting for you. You just walk in and find whoever is available. We make clothing and we do it every single day. It is repetitive work but we are used to the pace. The seasons change outside but the work inside stays pretty much the same. We just want to get the garments finished properly. We are just trying to get the day done.
