North India Exports

We are located in Sector 63, specifically at E- 107 in the industrial area. It’s a big block with a lot of other factories around us, so there is always a lot of movement, trucks coming in and out, and people moving crates. North India Exports has been operating out of this unit for a while. It’s a large space with high ceilings which is good because it stays a bit cooler in the summer, though not by much. We spend most of our day checking lists and making sure the boxes are packed properly. There is always the sound of packing tape being pulled and the hum of the fans in the background. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job, whether it’s checking the labels or loading the pallets. We don't have fancy furniture or a nice lobby, just a lot of concrete and metal shelves. The tea break at 4 PM is the highlight of the day for most of us. We talk about the local cricket matches or what’s happening in the news while we sit on the empty crates. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving things, but we prefer it that way. We don't really use big words to describe what we do, we just make sure the goods get to where they are supposed to go without any trouble. Every week we try to clear the floor so we can start fresh on Monday.
