You can find us at D 17. It is a simple address for a simple operation. We don't have a big sign with lights or anything like that. The building is just a standard structure in the block. Being at D 17 means we are tucked away a bit from the main noise of the bigger roads. Most of the time it is just the sound of the equipment and us talking to each other. We spend the whole day surrounded by materials and samples. It is not the kind of place where you wear a suit to work. We usually have sleeves rolled up and are moving boxes around. The floor is concrete and the walls have been painted a few times over the years. We keep our coffee mugs on the corner of the work tables. It’s a very practical space. We don’t have a lot of visitors, but when we do, they usually just pull up a plastic chair. It feels honest. There is no front or show for anyone. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. By the time the afternoon heat hits, we are usually deep into our tasks. It is just a small place where we put in the hours. D 17 is home for the business and it suits us just fine. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider.
