Neo International

You can find us over at D 21 in Sector 40. Neo International is a small operation, and we mostly deal with trading and moving goods around. The office isn't much to look at, just some computers, a printer that jams too often, and a lot of filing cabinets. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or answering emails. Dealing with international shipping means we are often awake at odd hours to talk to people in different time zones. It’s a lot of tracking numbers and worrying about whether a container is stuck at a port somewhere. Sometimes we have samples of products lying around the office, which makes the place look a bit cluttered. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us trying to keep the orders moving smoothly. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee, which is basically what keeps us going. Sector 40 is a relatively calm part of town compared to the main markets, which we like. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses or residences. We don’t really do big presentations or anything like that. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the paperwork for the customs is correct. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work that can be quite boring, but it’s what we do every day.
