Our place is at D-42 in Sector 2. It’s a busy little area with plenty of other small offices around us. Hawks It Services is where we spend most of our waking hours. The office is filled with the sound of fans from the servers and the clicking of keyboards. We handle all kinds of technical stuff that would probably bore most people if we talked about it too much. It’s not a shiny tech hub like you see in movies with neon lights and glass walls. It’s just a room with plenty of power strips and a lot of empty coffee cups sitting on the desks. We deal with crashes, updates, and things not connecting properly. Sometimes we’re here late into the evening because a system decided to stop working at five o’clock on a Friday. Sector 2 is convenient for us, and there are some good food stalls nearby for when we need a quick break. We don't have a receptionist at the front. If you walk in, you’ll probably see one of us under a desk checking a cable or staring intently at a screen. We don't really do the big sales pitches or fancy presentations. We just listen to what the problem is and try to find a way to fix it without making it too complicated. It can be stressful when things go wrong, but we’ve been doing this long enough to not panic. It’s a basic, honest way to earn a living in the IT world.
