Sphinx Worldbiz Ltd. is located at A 27c in Sector 16. Sector 16 is a pretty established part of the city, so things are a bit more organized around here than in the newer areas. Our building, A 27c, is easy to spot because of the big tree right out front that drops leaves everywhere in the autumn. We’re spread out over a couple of floors. It’s a busy place with people constantly moving between departments. We do a lot of business services and design work. The walls are covered in whiteboards that are usually full of scribbles and diagrams that only half of us understand. We don’t have a fancy dress code, so you’ll see people in jeans and t-shirts most days. The coffee machine is the most important piece of equipment in the building, and there’s usually a small line for it around 3 PM. We have a lot of long-term employees who have been with us since the early days. It feels more like a family than a corporation, even if the name sounds a bit grand. We just focus on getting the work done for the folks who ask us. The commute can be a bit of a nightmare when it rains, as the roads in Sector 16 tend to clog up, but we usually just stay late and wait for the traffic to clear. It’s a steady, honest way to make a living.
