Sconce Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. (Brain India), New Delhi

Sconce Exhibitions is up on the third floor of C-87 in Kendriya Vihar. It’s a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it, but Sector-51 in Noida is where we spend most of our time. We do exhibition stuff, which means a lot of planning and looking at floor maps. Sometimes people call us Brain India too, though most just know us by the Sconce name. The office is busy, especially when a big show is coming up. We have desks piled with papers and some models of booths we’ve built before. Being in Noida 201301 means we are close to a lot of the action, which helps us out. We aren't a massive corporation, just a team of people who know how to put a display together so it doesn't fall over during the event. Most days involve talking to vendors and making sure the graphics look right. It can get pretty stressful when deadlines are tight, but we manage to get through it. The staff here has been around for a while, so we know each other's habits well. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized. It’s not a glamorous life, but seeing a finished exhibition hall makes it feel like we did something. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and the neighbors in Sector-51 are used to us moving crates. It’s just how we work.
