Our workshop is at Phii C 166. That’s where Sarah Garments Pvt Ltd does all its work. It is a noisy place because of the machines running all day long. You can hear the hum from the street sometimes. We make all sorts of clothes here. It’s a lot of cutting fabric, sewing seams, and checking for loose threads. We have a team of people who have been doing this for a long time. Their hands move fast. The space is filled with rolls of cloth and boxes ready for shipping. It isn't a showroom, it is a factory. We don't have a lot of space for visitors to sit down, as every corner is used for production. We focus on getting the stitches right. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out by morning. We use a lot of thread. The floor is usually covered in little bits of scrap fabric by the end of the shift. We clean it up and start over the next day. Being at C 166 in the Phii area makes sense for us because of the logistics. It’s easy for the trucks to pull up and load the bales. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most of our work comes from people who know us and know we do a decent job with their designs. It’s a straightforward business. We just make clothes and try to do it right every time for everyone who asks.
