Sai Garments

Our shop, Sai Garments, is located right in the Main Gali of Sharma Market here in Harola. It’s a tight space but we make it work for us. Most days are spent sorting through boxes and hanging up new arrivals. We sell a bit of everything for the family. It’s a local business, nothing corporate about it at all. We know most of our neighbors. The market gets very crowded on weekends, so it can be a bit of a struggle to get through the lane sometimes. We’ve been at this address for a good number of years. It’s just how we earn our living. We don't have fancy displays or those big bright lights you see in malls. We just have shelves and a few hangers. Sometimes we run out of a particular size and have to wait for the next delivery. It is just part of the job. My cousin helps me out during the evenings when it gets busy. We don't do much advertising. People just walk in while they are doing their grocery shopping in Sharma Market. It's a practical setup. We keep the prices as fair as we can based on what the suppliers charge us. The fans hum all day long. If you are looking for something basic to wear, you might find it here. We don't talk much, just show the clothes and help with the billing. It’s a quiet life inside the shop compared to the noise in the gali.
