S. K. Glass & Aluminium Works

S. K. Glass & Aluminium Works is located at Shop Number 1 on the Main Road in Mamura. We are right near Hotel Orange Pie, just opposite Sector 67, though the shop itself is technically in Sector 66. It is a very busy area with a lot of traffic passing by all day long. The noise from the street is something you just get used to after a while. We have our display of aluminum frames right at the front so people can see what we do as they drive past. The shop is not very big, so we have to be organized with how we store the glass. Sometimes we are working right out on the sidewalk if the pieces are too long to turn around inside. It is a lot of manual labor, carrying heavy loads and making sure the cuts are straight. We do not have any mission statements or fancy slogans. We just fix windows and build partitions for the offices and houses nearby. Being near the hotel makes it easy for people to give directions to our place. We see a lot of different faces every day. Some people just want a small piece of glass replaced, while others have bigger jobs. We just take whatever comes our way and try to get it done without any fuss. It is a straightforward business on a busy road.
