Our place is located in Sector 51 of Hoshiarpur. We are very close to the Shiv Mandir, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find the shop. Working with glass and aluminium takes up most of our daylight hours. You can usually hear the sound of saws or grinders coming from inside. The temple nearby brings a lot of people to this street, so it never feels lonely. We have a lot of tools scattered around because there is always something being measured or cut. It is a practical kind of place. We don't spend money on expensive signs or decorations. The floor usually has a bit of sawdust or metal shavings on it by midday. We try to sweep up but it is a constant process. Being in Hoshiarpur means we see a lot of local residents. Some are fixing up their homes and need a piece of glass replaced.
