Royal Glass & Aluminium

Royal Glass & Aluminium is over in Sector 9, at H 11. It’s a decent-sized space, but it’s mostly taken up by the racks of glass and the aluminum extrusions. We’ve been working out of this spot for a few years now. Most days are the same. We get in, check what needs to be delivered, and start cutting. Glass is tricky stuff to work with, you have to be careful or you’ll end up with a nasty cut. We’ve all had our share of bandages over the years. The aluminum work is a bit easier on the hands but it’s loud when the saw is running. We work on a lot of shop fronts and home windows. It’s honest work. We don’t have any fancy brochures. Usually, people just tell us what they need, and we draw it out on a piece of cardboard or a scrap of paper. The sector is usually quiet compared to the main industrial zones, which we like. It means we can hear ourselves talk. We have a small tea break in the afternoon, usually sitting on the crates outside. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the windows we put in don't rattle when the wind blows.
