Rajeev Garments

Our shop, Rajeev Garments, sits right in the middle of Likhiram Market in the Atta area. We are very close to Jai Steel, which is how most people find their way to us. The market is always packed with people looking for a deal. We have a lot of competition around here, so we just focus on keeping our stock fresh and talking to anyone who stops by. It’s a small space, so we have to use every inch of the walls to show what we have. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when there are more than three customers inside, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time unpacking new bundles and checking the quality of the clothes. It’s just me and a few others most days. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything. We just put the items out and hope people like them. The mornings are usually for cleaning and getting things ready before the crowd arrives. By the afternoon, the whole market is buzzing. You hear all sorts of stories from the people who come in. Some stay for a while just to talk. We’ve seen kids grow up and start buying clothes for their own families here. It makes the long hours feel like they mean something. We are just a local shop trying to make a living in Atta.
