Rags Acoustic Solutions is based in Sector 44, at building B 214. This is where we handle everything related to sound and how it moves through a room. The office is filled with samples of foam, fabric, and heavy boards. It’s a bit of a messy place because we are always cutting things to size or testing out how different materials feel to the touch. It’s not a shiny showroom. It is more of a practical workspace where we figure out how to stop echoes and unwanted noise. The neighborhood is usually calm, which helps when you’re trying to listen to sound quality. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a team of people in suits. It’s just us and the materials we work with. Most days involve looking at drawings or measuring spaces for upcoming jobs. Sometimes we have large panels leaning against the walls waiting to be shipped out. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just look at a noisy room and try to make it quieter using what we have on hand. The floors are rarely clean because of the bits of insulation and dust that come with this kind of work. It is a small business where everyone does a bit of everything. We spend our time focused on the physical work rather than sitting in long meetings. If you come by the building, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a project.
