Lajpat Nagar Central Market is always a bit of a madhouse, and we are right in the thick of it at E3-7. R S Music Center is a small place, but we pack a lot of stuff into it. We have instruments hanging on the walls and shelves full of various bits and pieces like guitar strings, cables, and tuners. It’s the kind of shop where people come in just to look around and end up staying for an hour to talk about music. The market noise outside is constant, but inside we have our own sounds. Someone is usually tuning a guitar or trying out a keyboard in the corner. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shopkeepers around the Central Market area. It gets really crowded on the weekends, and sometimes it's hard to even move around inside the shop without bumping into a drum kit or a stand. We do some repairs too, so there are often half-finished projects sitting on the back counter with screws and wires everywhere. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. We don't have any fancy displays, just the gear and a few posters that have been there forever. The lights are a bit dim, which gives the place a cozy feeling compared to the bright street. It’s a good spot for people who actually care about their instruments.
