Mayoor Music Classes

You can find Mayoor Music Classes over at Samvad Vihar Society, number 41, in Ahinsha Khand P 3, Indirapuram. We’ve been teaching music in this neighborhood for quite a while now. It’s not a big conservatory or a fancy music hall with a stage. It’s just a comfortable place where we get together to play instruments and learn new songs. We have different instruments leaning against the walls, and the rooms aren’t soundproofed perfectly, so you can usually hear someone practicing a scale from the hallway. It’s a very lively atmosphere most afternoons. We’re right in the middle of Indirapuram, so it’s easy for local families to bring their kids over for a lesson after they finish school. We don't have a big staff of teachers, just a few of us who really enjoy music and like sharing it. We don't use a lot of fancy words or try to act like we’re better than anyone else. We just sit down with the students and work on the notes until they get them right. Sometimes it sounds really good right away, and other times it takes a lot of practice and patience to get there. That’s just how learning an instrument goes for everyone. The society is a nice place to be, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the residents who live nearby over the years. We’re not looking to become some huge chain of schools. We’re happy right here at 41 Samvad Vihar.
