You have to go through the main gate and explain to the guards where you’re going every single time. It’s a bit of a walk from the parking area to the flat. The view from the window is mostly other apartment blocks and a few trees that have managed to grow tall over the years. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee, and the light comes in pretty well in the afternoons. Living and working out of a place like this means you get to know the security guards and the people walking their dogs in the morning. It’s not flashy at all. There’s a desk in the corner and some chairs that have seen better days. Noida can be a bit overwhelming with all the construction and the traffic, but once you’re inside Sec-34, it settles down. We’ve got the pin 201307 written on almost everything we own. Being in Gautambudh Nagar means we deal with a lot of local paperwork, but we just take it one day at a time.
