Progressive Engineers

We are Progressive Engineers, right across from the Western Wing at Tis Hazari, number 16. Being near the courts means there is always a lot of movement and noise outside. The building we are in is quite old. The stairs are narrow and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it has character. We spend our time on various engineering tasks and technical jobs. It’s a lot of measuring and checking things twice. Our tools are well-used and have been with us for a long time. We don't spend money on fancy furniture because the work happens on the benches. You’ll see plenty of metal scraps and drawings lying around if you visit. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the window, so we have to move the papers. It’s just one of those things you deal with in an old spot like this. We get all sorts of people coming through the door. Some are in a rush, others want to talk through every detail. We just take it as it comes. Lunch is usually whatever we brought from home or something from the stall downstairs. It’s a busy life here in Tis Hazari, but we like the pace. We don't need much more than our tools and a steady stream of work to keep us happy. The evening traffic is usually our signal to start cleaning up and locking the doors.
