We are based out of M-10 in Sector-25, right in the Jalvayu Vihar area of Noida. It’s a pretty established neighborhood with lots of trees, and we’ve been here for a good while. Pret Study By Janak is all about clothes and fashion, but the behind-the-scenes work isn't as flashy as what you see on a runway. Our space is usually full of rolls of fabric, paper patterns, and the sound of sewing machines. There’s always someone cutting cloth or checking the stitching on a new piece of clothing. Noida-201301 is where we do all the organizing and the actual work of putting things together. It’s not a big, cold warehouse; it feels more like a busy workshop where everyone knows each other’s names. We spend our days looking at colors and making sure the fits are right before anything goes out. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we have a big deadline, and the tables are piled high with garments and thread. We don’t really have time for polished speeches or fancy descriptions of our goals. We just want to make sure the clothes look decent when they leave the shop. The staff here are mostly local people who have been working with textiles for a long time. We drink a lot of coffee, talk about the daily tasks, and try to keep things moving. It’s just our daily life, working with needles and thread.
