Polki Garments(Freelook)

You can find us at 123-E in Sector 41, Noida. It’s a pretty straightforward spot in a part of the city that has grown a lot lately. We run Polki Garments from here, which most people know as the Freelook brand. It’s not a massive factory or anything like that. It’s more of a home base for our garment business. We have rolls of fabric and finished shirts everywhere. The workspace is a bit cluttered, to be honest. We spend most of our hours checking the stitching and making sure the colors are what they’re supposed to be. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks. The building itself is just a standard Noida structure, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, though, we’re always moving. Someone is always on the phone with the distributors or counting the stock. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't use fancy software for everything; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or use the back-up generator if we really have to. It’s just how things are here. We’ve been in the garment trade for a while and this location suits us. It’s easy enough for the delivery trucks to find us, even if the lane gets a bit narrow when everyone parks their bikes there. We just keep at it every day.
