Our small office for Planet Comnet Technology Pvt Ltd is at 111-A in Kamla Nagar. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with the market nearby. There’s always someone selling something or people walking by our door. The building is an old one, typical for Kamla Nagar, with those steep stairs that make you catch your breath. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have quite a few servers and towers taking up space. It gets warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going constantly. We aren't a big, polished firm. Most of the time, the floor is covered with cables and boxes that haven't been unpacked yet. We do a lot of networking and tech support work. It’s a lot of manual labor, not just sitting at desks. Sometimes the power goes out in the neighborhood, and everything goes silent for a second until the backup kicks in. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk straight into the workspace. It’s practical and a bit messy, but that’s how we work best. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and we’ve seen the shops around us change owners many times. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out. It’s a noisy place to work but we have gotten used to the energy of the market outside.
