Our shop is in India Place Mall, which is right near the metro station in Sector 38. Being so close to the metro means we see a lot of commuters and people just passing through on their way home. It is a big mall, so it takes a while to get from one end to the other. We spend our days here among the racks, trying to keep things in some kind of order. The weekends are always a bit of a blur because so many people come in at once. Sometimes the piles of clothes get messy, and we have to spend the whole evening putting things back where they belong. It is just the three of us usually, so we stay pretty busy. We do not have any big meetings or corporate stuff to worry about, just the daily routine of opening up and closing at night. Noida gets really hot, so staying inside the mall is usually a relief. We know the security guards and the people in the other shops nearby, so it feels like a little community. Sometimes the stock does not arrive when it is supposed to, or there is a problem with the scanner, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is a regular job in a regular mall, nothing too out of the ordinary, and we just keep things going one day at a time.
