Palk Garments

Palk Garments is in Sector 27, inside Hukam Singh Market at Atta 1. If you know the Atta market, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the weekends when everyone is out. We are in one of the smaller blocks, so it can be a bit hard to find us the first time you visit. The shop is mostly just a counter and some shelves piled high with different items. We don't have a lot of space for people to walk around, so it gets a bit cramped when more than two people are inside. It’s a very busy environment with people shouting and bikes honking outside all the time. We spend most of the day folding clothes or helping folks find the right size for their kids. The walls are covered in posters that have been there forever. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns watching the front of the shop. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed when the market is really full, but we just take it one person at a time and do our best. The lighting is a bit dim towards the back of the store, but we know exactly where everything is kept. It’s a simple shop in a very old market. We’ve seen a lot of other businesses come and go, but we have stayed in the same spot in Hukam Singh Market. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our daily routine and we like the people.
