Nj Fashion India is over at Shop No. 105 in Subodh Market, located in the Habibpur area. It’s a standard market shop, nothing too big or small, just enough for what we do. Habibpur has its own pace, and Subodh Market is right in the middle of it. We spend our days at Shop 105, which is mostly filled with stock and a couple of stools for us to sit on when things get quiet. The floor is tiled but shows the wear and tear of people coming in and out. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just the usual shop front that lets people know we are open. Usually, the morning starts with sweeping the front and arranging the items so they look somewhat neat. The market can get pretty hot in the summer, and the breeze doesn't always reach the inner shops. We talk to the other shopkeepers nearby about the weather or how the day is going. It’s a simple life here. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the clothes and making sure we know where everything is kept on the shelves. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance to the market, and we have to wait to get our stuff inside. That’s just part of being in Habibpur. We stay until the evening when most of the market starts to wind down and pack up for the night.
