Paharganj is a chaotic place to work, but we’ve been here at Ram Nagar for quite a while. Our office is on Qutab Road, right at number 10. It’s an old building, and the stairs are a bit steep. We deal with trading and some logistics stuff. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking lists. The noise from the street never really stops, with the rickshaws and the tourists walking toward the station. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls. We have old wooden desks and piles of paperwork that seem to grow every week. Sometimes the tea man from downstairs brings us snacks around four o'clock. We just try to get the orders sorted and sent out. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. It gets really crowded in the lane when the delivery vans arrive. We know the other business owners on this block pretty well. It’s just a regular group of people working hard in a busy part of Delhi. We don’t do anything fancy, just the basic daily tasks of running a business. Dealing with the heat in June is the hardest part. But we’ve grown used to the rhythm of this place. Even when the internet goes slow or the power cuts off, we find a way to finish our work before we lock up at night. It is a bit noisy, but we like it here.
