N R Fashions

Our place is over at C- 32 in Sector 65. It is a pretty straightforward setup where we handle all the work for N R Fashions. If you come by, you’ll see piles of fabric and thread everywhere. Sector 65 is mostly industrial, so it isn't the quietest place to work, but it suits us just fine. There is always the sound of sewing machines or people moving boxes around. We spend our days looking at patterns and making sure the clothes are coming along okay. It gets pretty warm in the workspace during the summer months, so we usually have a few fans going all the time. The floors are often covered in little bits of thread and cloth scraps that we have to sweep up at the end of the day. It is hard work and our backs sometimes ache from leaning over the tables, but that is just part of the job in the fashion business. We don't have a big showroom with lights and mirrors. It is more of a workshop where the real work happens. Most of us have been working with fabric for a long time, so we just get on with it without much fuss. The building itself is just a regular concrete block like others in Sector 65, but inside there is a lot going on every single day. We keep our coffee mugs on our desks and just keep working.
