We’ve been operating out of Modi Nagar for a while now. The office is right over in Lower Bazar, just across from the Oil Mill Gate. If you know the area, it's near the Jain Mandir. My name is Tilak Raj and I handle things here at the house, number 138. It’s been my father’s place, R.D. Sharma, and we just keep the work going from this spot. People in Ghaziabad usually find us easily enough once they get to the bazaar. We do engineering work, mostly local stuff that comes our way. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular place where we get the drawings done and talk to clients. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The street gets busy during the day with all the shops nearby. We just focus on the projects we have on hand and try to get them finished without too much fuss. It is a family-run kind of setup. We don't really do much advertising. Most people just hear about us from someone else in town. If you are walking down towards the oil mill, you can’t miss the gate. We stay busy with the technical side of things and keeping the paperwork in order for the private limited company. It works for us.
