Our office is in Railnagar, specifically at D-237 in Sector 50, Noida. It is a pretty quiet spot compared to the main roads of the city. Being in U.P. means we deal with the usual local stuff like occasional power swings, but we have backups for our computers. As consultants and engineers, we spend most of our time looking at drawings or talking on the phone with sites. The rooms are filled with folders and rolls of paper that never seem to go away. We drink a lot of coffee while working through calculations. Sector 50 is a decent area, so it is easy for people to find us if they know the landmarks around Railnagar. We do not have a big sign or anything, just a simple door. Most of the guys here have been doing engineering for years, so we just get on with the tasks. The desks are a bit cluttered with pens and rulers. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once about a project. We usually go out for a quick bite at the local market when things get too hectic. It is just a regular engineering workplace where we try to get the numbers right. There is nothing fancy about the interiors, just functional furniture and good lighting for the drafting work. We stay until the job is done for the day.
