Meeraj Fashion

We’re over at D-75 in Sector-63. Meeraj Fashion is a small operation compared to some of the giants around here. Sector-63 is full of buildings that look the same, so you have to look for the number on the gate. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but we don't mind. The workspace is filled with fabric and machines. It is noisy when everything is running, but that is the sound of work. We have a few people who are really good with their hands. It is not a sterile environment; there are threads on the floor and scraps of cloth everywhere. We try to keep it tidy, but it is hard when you are busy. We don't have a fancy showroom. If people want to see what we do, they just come into the back. It is honest work and we take it one day at a time. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big order to finish. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. It is just a regular bunch of folks trying to do a good job. We have been in this sector for a few years now and know the neighbors pretty well. It is a community of makers, really. Nothing fancy about it, just us and our tools. We take a break when the heat gets too much and then get back to it.
