Manoj Tea Stall is located right inside the Ghaziabad Civil Court Compound at Raj Nagar 483. It is always a bit chaotic here with all the lawyers and people coming for their court dates. Manoj started this stall a long time ago just to give people a place to get a hot cup of tea while they wait for their names to be called. We don't have much of a shop, just a small counter and a few benches that have seen better days. The tea is made with plenty of ginger and milk, just how most people around here like it. In the mornings, we are busy setting up the stove and getting the milk delivery sorted. By noon, the crowd is thick and everyone is in a hurry. You can hear the clinking of glasses all day long. Sometimes we sell a few packets of biscuits or some salted rusks if someone wants a snack. We know most of the regulars, like the typists and the clerks who work nearby. They usually just nod and we know exactly how much sugar they want. It gets really hot in the summer standing near the burner, but the work has to be done. We stay open until the court shuts down and the lawyers head home. It’s a simple life and we just take it one day at a time. The floor is usually covered in a bit of dust from the road, but we sweep it when we can.
