Maharaja Fashion is situated in the Ch Rampal Awana Complex, right opposite the Shipra Hotel in the Atta Market area of Sector 27. This is one of the busiest parts of the city, and being across from a hotel means we get all sorts of people walking in. The complex itself is always humming with activity. Our shop is packed with clothes from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit much to take in at first, but we know where everything is kept. We spend our days helping people navigate the stacks and trying on different outfits. The mirrors are always smudged because so many people use them, so we are constantly wiping them down. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have any fancy titles; we all just do whatever needs to be done, whether it’s helping a customer or lugging boxes from the delivery truck. The heat in the summer can be tough, even with the fans going, but we keep the doors open so people can see we are ready for business. We’ve been in Atta Market for quite a while, and we’ve seen shops come and go. We just focus on our own work, keeping the shelves full and the prices fair. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we appreciate the people who come back to see us time and again.
