We have been based here at E-169-C in Noida Sector 7 for quite a while now. The building is one of those standard ones you see around this part of the industrial sector. Most days start with the guard opening up the heavy front gate around nine. It’s usually pretty quiet until the rest of the staff trickles in from the metro station nearby. We don’t have fancy glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, some storage shelves, and the sound of the fans humming when the AC is acting up. Dealing with overseas stuff means our timings are a bit all over the place. Sometimes we are here late because of the time zone differences. The tea stall right outside the main gate is where we usually end up for a break. They make a decent ginger chai that helps when things get hectic with paperwork. Looking out the window, you mostly see other similar buildings and the delivery trucks trying to navigate the narrow lanes of Sector 7. It is a busy area, especially during lunch hours when everyone comes out to the small food joints. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. It’s not a glamorous place, but it works for what we do. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet because there’s always something else to do.
