Lumenare Networks India operates out of Sector 57 in Noida, at B-73. Sector 57 is a mix of different offices and small businesses, and our place is just one of many in the row. We deal with networking systems, so there are usually a lot of cables, routers, and testing equipment lying around on the benches. The office has a very functional feel to it. We have a few rooms set up for the technical work and a small area where we handle the administrative side of things. It is not a big open-plan office with bean bags or anything trendy. It is just standard desks and chairs where we sit for eight or nine hours a day. The power goes out sometimes in this area, so we have the backup running, which adds a bit of hum to the background. We often order lunch from the small dhabas or shops nearby. The staff knows each other well, and we do not really go for formal titles much when we are working. It is more about figuring out a technical problem together. The windows look out onto the street where people are always parking their scooters. It is a plain, honest workspace where we just try to keep up with the networking jobs we have on our plate.
