La-Demure

You can find La-Demure over at F-10 in Sector-3. It is a pretty standard commercial block, nothing special to look at from the outside. We have got a small sign on the door, but most people just look for the blue gate. Inside, it is a lot of workspace and not much else. We have a few desks pushed together and some high shelves for storage. It is usually pretty quiet until the morning delivery arrives, then it gets a bit chaotic for an hour or two. We do not have any corporate polish here. The chairs are mismatched and the clock on the wall is five minutes fast, which we keep that way just to make sure we are not late for things. We spend our time checking products and making sure everything is packed right. There isn't a lot of talking some days, just the sound of tape machines and the radio. We like to keep things simple and practical. We do not have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just want to make sure the boxes go out on time and arrive in one piece. The floor gets dusty because of the warehouse next door, so we are always sweeping. It is just a regular, working-class spot where we try to do a decent job every day without any extra drama or noise.
